Anne's Glasses

Today I read about how Anne had recently discovered she was nearsighted and had to get glasses. The idea of going outside again thrilled her because she had to be inside all the time. I can relate to Anne because I am nearsighted as well. I am thankful that I have the privilege of getting new glasses each year. It makes me feel sad when I realize that Anne didn't have glasses. It must have been really hard to read which was one of the main things she did in the annex.
